David J. Lloyd is the managing member of Stickel, Frahn, and Lloyd LLC and has been practicing law for over 40 years.  He concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate, small business planning, elder care, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, tax, and wealth preservation.

Mr. Lloyd, born and raised in Trenton, received his Bachelor of Arts in English, with honors and distinction, from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University.  After graduating from law school, he clerked for Superior Court Judge George B. Francis in Atlantic City, Equity Division.  He joined Mr. Stickel and Mr. Frahn in 1976 as an associate at the firm and became a partner in 1980.  

Mr.  Lloyd was the Chatham Borough Attorney from 2002 to 2008 and the Madison Borough Board of Health Attorney from 1991 to 2009.  Mr. Lloyd was the former president of the Madison Jaycees and board member of the Madison Y.M.C.A. Mr. Lloyd is an active member in the Kiwanis Club of the Chathams for over 25 years and a past president.

Mary K. Royer, Of Counsel at Stickel Frahn & Lloyd LLC, concentrates her practice in elder care, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, commercial and residential real estate, tax, and wealth preservation.

Mrs. Royer, an Iowa native, received her Bachelor of Arts in History, with honors and highest distinction, from the University of Iowa, her Master of Arts in Colonial History from the University of Michigan, and her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University.  While in law school, she interned with the Attorney General of the State of Iowa.  After graduating from law school, Mrs. Royer was an associate at Squire, Sanders, & Dempsey in Cleveland, Ohio.  Following her marriage to David J. Lloyd, she moved to New Jersey and joined the law department at Allied Chemical (now Honeywell) where she was appointed Assistant Secretary of the corporation.  Mrs. Royer started her own practice in 1985 after the birth of her first son.

She is a founding member of the New Jersey Agricultural Museum, a founding board member of the Time Out Adult Day Care, located in Madison, and former president of the New Jersey Chapter A.C. of PEO, a sisterhood active in promoting educational opportunities for women.  Currently, Mrs. Royer is an active member of the the Thursday Morning Club, Kiwanis Club of the Chathams, and the American Association of University Women Madison, N.J. branch.   She has served as co president for AAUW and been a named gift honoree to women's scholarships for her AAUW branch in 1985 and 2015.

David Mark Lloyd is an associate attorney with Stickel, Frahn, and Lloyd LLC and concentrates his practice in elder care, estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, commercial and residential real estate, and tax.

Mr. Lloyd, born and raised in Morris County, was the salutatorian of his class at Bayley-Ellard Catholic High School and a Bloustein Scholar.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Rochester and his Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.  He became a member of the New Jersey bar in 2010 and joined Stickel, Frahn, and Lloyd LLC the same year.

James W. Lloyd is an associate attorney with Stickel, Frahn, and Lloyd LLC.  He specializes in estate planning, business planning, and real estate.

 James developed an interest in business during his undergraduate education at Villanova University.  He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Accounting.  He received his Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.  During law school, James was a teaching assistant in torts and property.  He developed a special touch for understanding and explaining underlying concepts of the law.  James became a member of the New Jersey bar in 2014 and joined the firm the same year.  In 2017, James received NJ Association of Professional Mediators training.

In his downtime, James enjoys reading nonfiction books, reading the news, skiing, and watching the Villanova Wildcats basketball team.
